Yesterday morning I had my 37 week doctor's appointment. I am still not dilated at all, but baby is still remaining in the proper head down position which was good to hear. The doc did say that I had "thinned out" since my last appointment which means things are least moving along, just not as quickly as I'd like them to be as I'm becoming extremely uncomfortable with each passing day. Our next appointment is Monday, 2/23, so I'll fill you all in afterwards.
Sleeping is pretty much out of the question at this point. Each night I get stabbing pains in my lower back and my tummy tightens up to the point where I'm actually fighting to get a good breath of air. The baby certainly enjoys playing in my tummy at nighttime. I'm assuming this is my body's way of preparing me for what's to come. :)
But health wise I continue to feel fine and we're just counting down the days at this point. Greg and I can't wait to meet ______ _______ Davis or ______ ______ Davis. haha! Sorry, some folks don't want to know the names we chose until the baby arrives so I can't blow it for them! Don't worry mom and dad, I won't spill the beans until the time comes!! :)

36 weeks! The countdown begins...
Greg and I had our 36 weeks doctor's appointment this morning. The baby's heartbeat is still pumping as strong as the first day, 152 bpm, and he/she has moved into the head down position!! Which means, he/she is ready (position wise) when the much anticipated time comes! I am not dilated at all though, so it's not going to happen quite yet. Which is fine with me, as a little more time to "cook" can't hurt. :)
I wish I could have taken a picture of Greg's face when the doctor said, "The baby is in the head down position." His smile was priceless!!!! You could just see the excitement gleaming off of him!! I love it! Now every time I call him he thinks I'm calling to tell him I'm in labor...haha!
I will now be seeing the doctor weekly until the baby's arrival so I'll keep you posted with each appointment. Wish us luck!!!

We're getting there!!!
As some of you know, the upstairs painting has finally been completed as well as the carpet installation. So this past weekend was the official "Moving Day". With the help of my parents and Kevin (Greg's brother) we were able to move in the rest of our stuff in to the upstairs bedrooms. Greg also finished our master bathroom upstairs!!!! So no more middle of the night journeys downstairs to the potty (and for those of you who have been pregnant, you know these journeys take place quite often). So now, the only finishing touches left are trim, ceiling fans and doors....and of course curtains, pictures and art on the walls. (fun stuff) :)

More Nursery!
Guest Bedroom
Guest Bedroom (different angle)
Master Bath (still need a mirror, but we've got a working toilet!)

I posted some pics of the rooms upstairs...unfortunately the ones I took of our master bedroom came out much too dark to see so I'll take more of those in the daytime so you can actually see them. I also forgot to get an updated pic of the tummy so that will also be posted ASAP.
Living Room (not an upstairs room, but the wedge and coffee table are new additions)
Powder Room (also not an upstairs room, but looks a lot better than it originally did)
Now moving onto the upstairs...look at the carpet!!!
Door less hallway...more carpet!!
Nursery!
Master Bath (still need a mirror, but we've got a working toilet!)
Working Shower!
Greg's AMAZING tile work! Love it!
